Dharmagiri Vikas Society is constituted in the year 1977 and registered under Travancore – Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act 1955 (Reg. No. ER 2/79) Dated, January 3rd 1979. The Society is run by the congregation of the Medical Sisters of St. Joseph – St. Joseph’s Province, Kothamangalam.  Rev. Sr. Jacinta M.S.J. was the founder and Pioneer President of the Society.
